Hospital data and donations, made easier to navigate
Two pieces of work for the Texas Hospital Association: a searchable hospital-data interface and a separate single-page donation application.
The situation
The association needed a public interface for Texas hospital data. A separate project addressed a donation flow connected to its existing DNN website.
What the project covered
The work produced a searchable WordPress data interface, and a separate donation application built with PHP, Node.js, Bootstrap, and Authorize.Net, deployed on Linux EC2.
The implementation
Make hospital data searchable
A WordPress interface made more than 3,000 data points searchable, including county-level pages for exploring the information.
Connect the donation application
A single-page donation flow integrated Authorize.Net's API, hosted on a Linux server on Amazon EC2 configured for the project and connected to the client's DNN site.
What changed
The data project exposed a large set of hospital information through searchable county-level pages. The donation project delivered a payment-integrated form connected to the existing website.
